Number Two
Since I have written last not much has changed, but I have received a new book from my grandparents titled Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance. The book is an autobiography about Musk's life and all of his accomplishments. He is seen as one of the most accomplished humans of today's society. From dealing with a great deal of stress from his father to creating some of the most technologically advanced companies in the world, Musk is one amazing man. While I will not go into great deal of this book, I will simply share some of my thoughts of it so far. I am currently about half way done reading it, and I am hooked to say the least. I know this might sound slightly crazy, but I have noticed an increased gusto about myself after reading the book. This would make sense as Musk has created this image of being a total alpha male in every aspect of his life, and I am slightly exuding that from association. I feel this as to be quite beneficial to myself as I have not felt this sense of invincibility for many years. This book has also inspired my to push myself both mentally and physically but also spiritually. The book mentions how common it is for many computer engineers as well as start up entrepreneurs to work 70+ hour work weeks. I think about these individuals the innovation and excellence they have produced, and it makes me want to push myself further. I have known for years I have wanted to accomplish extraordinary things in life, and I cannot do this by being content with the norm. Continuing into the future I will keep pushing for my goals and even further. Maybe someday I will be working for a space company looking to solve for growing food on planets such as Mars. But until then I must open as many doors as possible.
